Bradford white water heater thermocouple : Steam space heater : Diy solar water heater.
Bradford White Water Heater Thermocouple
- Water heating is a thermodynamic process using an energy source to heat water above its initial temperature. Typical domestic uses of hot water are for cooking, cleaning, bathing, and space heating. In industry, both hot water and water heated to steam have many uses.
- a heater and storage tank to supply heated water
- An appliance for supplying hot water for purposes other than space heating or pool heating.
- A thermoelectric device for measuring temperature, consisting of two wires of different metals connected at two points, a voltage being developed between the two junctions in proportion to the temperature difference
- a kind of thermometer consisting of two wires of different metals that are joined at both ends; one junction is at the temperature to be measured and the other is held at a fixed lower temperature; the current generated in the circuit is proportional to the temperature difference
- A thermocouple is a junction between two different metals that produces a voltage related to a temperature difference. Thermocouples are a widely used type of temperature sensor for measurement and control and can also be used to convert heat into electric power.
- (Thermocouples) small devices placed near the nostrils or mouth to measure air flow by sensing temperature changes; expired air is warmer than inspired air.
- United States printer (born in England) whose press produced the first American prayer book and the New York City's first newspaper (1663-1752)
- The martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth and garnished with an olive. Over the years, the martini has become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic beverages. H. L. Mencken once called the martini "the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet," and E. B.

- Paint or turn (something) white
- a member of the Caucasoid race
- being of the achromatic color of maximum lightness; having little or no hue owing to reflection of almost all incident light; "as white as fresh snow"; "a bride's white dress"
One of the thermocouples
One thermocouple will be embedded in the floor and the other in the dome. This is the one for the dome. They were built by Omega Engineering in CT. They're made to plug into a cheap Sears multimeter (yellow end).
Thermocouple, Piotr Kowalski
When I saw this my first thought was "Hey! That is a thermocouple!" Indeed it was. If there is any simple feedback system that deserves a monument, it is the thermocouple.
